In front, a mountain amidst the haunted trees
Where tortured souls will find eternal peace
So desolated, no life, bird or deer
Only the silent moaning of dying humans here

What made them wander deeper into the green?
How many went before them?
Why did they wander into this maze of trees?
And breathe their final breath in the woods of eternity…
Behind the golden tape…
What’s going on in nature’s cursed grave?

Beyond the path and trails, in endless soil and moss
Where skulls make forest litter and blood the midnight frost
Still scratches on the branches which once held up the noose
And on the ground some ashes, relics of self-abuse

What made them ponder and go behind the trail?
How many lives will follow?
Why did they roam into this sea of trees?
And spend their final day inside the woods of eternity..
Inside this wretched place
They go beyond and end their cruel days..

There comes a time when we cannot go on..
And all that’s left in us is the desire to go beyond..

Too I shall crave to find my rest, just like the rest of them
But will I have the strength to take my life?
Too I deserve eternal peace and to be rotting just like them
How much I envy them..

One day I too shall feed the woods with my corpse
And I’ll be something that’s far greater than a man
I shall live eternally, I shall be the woods myself
